2013-10-13                   OpenPGP Key Transition Announcement for Jan Boysen

I'm going to replace my current DSA OpenPGP key (KeyID 0x6A3FCAF - 1024 bits generated on 2003-09-01)
with a new RSA key (KeyID 0xDB488616 - 8192 bits generated on 2012-09-30).

After 10 years of use its time for a new key pair. In addition the new key contains stronger encryption preferences
and better hash algorithms.

The current DSA key is not to be considered compromised. It will remain my official key for regular communications until
the new one is well connected (more than 20 certifications and MSD < 5). 
When this condition is met, the new RSA key becomes my official key and a 3-months expiration period is set for the DSA key.

The new key is signed from the old key and this document is signed with both current and new key.

The new key is available on public keyservers and from my webserver at https://wadd.nu/signing/0xDB488616.asc
